Amtore has designed and deployed high-speed data networks for a variety of applications, from data centers to offices with more than 3,000 user points, cross-pavement optical backbone infrastructure, and local networks for subway stations, airports, oil companies, hydroelectric plants, and command and control centers. Our experience includes FTTO, CAT-7 networks, multimode and single-mode optical backbone, networks for CCTV, sound and AP, variable message boards in train and subway stations etc. We accumulated in our works the installation of 800 km of UTP cable and connectorization of 10,000 RJ-45 jacks.
I.T. Infrastructure
Prédio Sonangol – Luanda, Angola
With the construction, in 2008, of the new Angolan state oil headquarters building Sonangol in the city of Luanda, the country’s capital, it was necessary to provide all the IT infrastructure to support more than 600 user points on each floor of the building with I.P. telephony services, high-speed data network, connectivity with datacenter services and external networks for data, voice and video. This system had to contain the state of the art in network architecture, being completely manageable and flexible. To meet this challenge, Amtore Tecnologia, associated with the companies Wire Comm Angola and Hiperdist Angola S.A., elaborated the conceptual and executive projects of the entire system, also carrying out the assembly and installation of.

Integrated Control and Command Center of Rio de Janeiro
In 2013, after the construction of the Integrated Command and Control Center of the State of Rio de Janeiro (CICC), the Regulatory Agency of Public Services for Waterway, Rail, Subway and Highway Transportation of the State of Rio de Janeiro (AGETRANSP) hired Amtore to perform the supply of the materials and services necessary for the installation and certification of the Structured Cabling networks for voice and data; Electric; and complementary infrastructure for cable passage. These activities were carried out aiming at the implementation of the Pre-treatment Room for Images from the cameras that monitor the Transportation Systems of the City of Rio de Janeiro and Niterói. In this Room the images are received from the existing cameras in the Rio-Subway, Metropolitan Trains of the Rio Suburb, Rio-Niterói bridge and Barcas, where technicians select the images that will be passed on to the Main Room of the CICC.

Local Network Installation
DETRAN-RJ
In 2004, through a pioneering initiative of DETRAN-RJ (DMV), Amtore provided materials and assembly services for the written test rooms for the qualification exams, including:
• Installation of trays and ducts;
• Installation of low voltage power grid;
• Installation of data network using UTP cable;
• Installation of computers, scanners and printers;
• Preliminary System Tests.
These activities enabled the implementation of an electronic system for the application of the written test for the National Driver’s License, having been initially implemented in the DMV stations of Barra da Tijuca, Centro, Campo Grande, Caxias, Nova Iguaçu and São Gonçalo (Niterói).

Santos Dumont Airport
In 1998 Construtora Centro Oeste (CCO) was renovating the departure terminal of Santos Dumont Airport in Rio de Janeiro, which had been destroyed by a fire in February of the same year. On this occasion the CCO hired Amtore to perform the services necessary for the reestablishment of the local voice and data network, including the installation and certification of the Structured Cabling network with the assembly and connectorization of Patchpanels at user points, checkin, self-service totems, airline rooms, security, kiosks and other places that had demand for data access and telephony.
